SumaiL and Iceiceice Depart Team Secret
Two players have left Team Secret. On their Twitter page, the organization has officially announced that Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan is no longer part of the team. Meanwhile Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang on his Facebook page wrote that he was looking for a new team and has already found one. However, Secret themselves have not commented on the situation with iceiceice.
Both SumaiL and iceiceice joined Team Secret last November, replacing the team’s longstanding members Lasse Aukusti "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen and Ludwig "zai" Wåhlberg. This year the team, which earlier placed 3rd at The International 2021, has been showing mixed results – the updated roster competed in the first division of the Western European Dota Pro Circuit, placing 5th in both tours. Thus, the team retained their place in the division but failed to advance to the regional finals and ESL One Stockholm.
The organization has not revealed the replacements for the departed players. However, since the official transfer period will begin only next week after the conclusion of ESL One Stockholm, the team will have enough time to compete their roster for the upcoming season.
Remaining Team Secret Members:
- Michał "Nisha" Jankowski
- Yazied "YapzOr" Jaradat
- Clement "Puppey" Ivanov (captain)
- Lee "Heen" Seung Gon (coach)
