S4’s Team Goonsquad Advances to the First DPC Division
Goonsquad have become the first team from Western Europe to advance from the second Dota Pro Circuit division to the first one. Following their yesterday’s victory over Into the Breach, the team now has a 6-0 match score. Although they still have one match to play, the team has already secured their place in the upper division.
Goonsquad is a mostly Swedish mix that includes former Alliance players Gustav "s4" Magnusson, Simon "Handsken" Rasmus Haag and Linus "Limmp" Blomdin, as well as former Chicken Fighters members Charlie "CharlieDota" Arat and Petu "Peksu" Vaatainen. The team managed to win six matches without losing a single map. In their final game within the league, which is scheduled for April 18th, 5:00 PM UK time, they will face Team Bald Reborn.
