PGL Major Antwerp: G2 and Vitality Fail to Qualify for the Champions Stage

The second Legends stage of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 has concluded. Two prominent teams –Vitality and G2 have failed to qualify for the major’s playoffs, as they lost to Heroic (1-2) and FURIA (1-2) respectively in the final round of the stage. Besides that, CPHF managed to defeat Imperial with a 2-0 score.

Thus, the stage’s results are following:

3-0: Team Spirit, Natus Vincere

3-1: ENCE, Ninjas in Pyjamas, FaZe Clan

3-2: CPHF, Heroic, FURIA

2-3: G2, Vitality, Imperial

1-3: BIG, Cloud9, Outsiders

0-3: Team Liquid

Now the teams with the 3-0, 3-1 and 3-2 scores will compete in the major final Champions Stage. The stage is scheduled for May 19th – 22nd and will follow a single-elimination format, with all matches being best-of-three. The pairs for the quarterfinals have been seeded as follows (UK time):

May 19th

• 3:30 PM – FaZe vs NIP
• 7:00 PM – Spirit vs FURIA

May 20th

• 3:30 PM – CPHF vs ENCE
• 7:00 PM – NAVI vs Heroic

PGL Major Antwerp 2022 takes place in Belgium and features a $1,000,000 prize pool. The tournament will conclude at Antwerps Sportpaleis on May 22nd, with its winner claiming half of the prize money.
