G2 Wins BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024

On the evening of September 29, the champion of the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024 was determined. The grand final saw G2 face off against NAVI.

Both teams began the tournament in Group A, where NAVI defeated NiKo's team in a head-to-head match and finished in first place, while G2 secured second place. As a result, NAVI started the playoffs from the semifinals, while G2 entered from the quarterfinals.

On their way to the final, G2 defeated Team Spirit (2:0) and Team Vitality (2:1). NAVI, in the semifinals, triumphed over FaZe Clan (2:1).

The Best-of-5 final began with G2 winning the first two maps: the team took their opponent's pick, Ancient (13:9), and then their own, Dust2 (13:11). On Mirage, Aleksib's team managed to make a comeback from 3:9 after the first half, narrowing the gap in the series (13:11 on Mirage, 1:2 in the series), but on Inferno, NiKo's team confidently converted the match point — 13:7 and 3:1 in the series.

For winning the tournament, G2 earned $200,000 and will also compete in the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024.
