Following the Opening Stage, 8 Teams Advance to the Next Round of PGL Major Copenhagen 2024

On the evening of March 20th, the final matches of the Opening Stage at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 were played. That day featured three pairs of teams with a 2-2 record competing.

Ultimately, the last teams to make it through to the Elimination Stage were Imperial Esports (2:1 against GamerLegion), The Mongolz (2:0 against Legacy), and FURIA Esports (2:0 against SAW). Previously, HEROIC, Cloud9, Eternal Fire, ECSTATIC, and paiN Gaming had also advanced from the Opening Stage.

The Elimination Stage matches are set to begin on March 21st and will follow the same format as the Opening Stage matches. The 8 teams from the Opening Stage will join FaZe Clan, Team Spirit, Team Vitality, MOUZ, Complexity Gaming, Virtus.pro, Natus Vincere, and G2 Esports.

PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, with a total prize pool of $1,250,000, will run until March 31st.
