ESL announces IEM Brazil 2023

The details of IEM Brazil have been announced. The tournament will be held on April 17-23, 2023, but the host city is not yet disclosed, although sources point to Rio.

16 teams will participate in the tournament, 11 of which will be invited directly. The list of invitations has not been announced yet.

In addition, 5 regional qualifiers winners will qualify for the tournament - 2 from Europe and one team each from North America, South America and Asia. The qualifiers will start on January 21 and end on February 16.

The prize pool for IEM Brazil 2023 is $250,000. The winner of the tournament will receive $100,000 and an invitation to IEM Cologne 2023. IEM Cologne will be held in Germany from July 25 to August 6.
